The server is installed and maintained within the enterprise’s data-center and can be secured according to the enterprise’s best practices.

Rapid Time to Market and Low TCO – integration with the enterprise’s existing service layer is made easier since the IdeoMobile MAP server is the sole integration point. In most cases the mobile application can access existing services which serve the enteprise’s existing internet applications. Application customization is handled via an abstract UI model which eliminates the complexity involved in designing and developing applications for the multitude of devices. In addition, the server based architecture means that deploying changes to the application does not require any re-distribution of the application or effort on behalf of the user (similar to accessing a web site).

Universal “Player” Client Application – as opposed to true client applications, IdeoMobile’s Mobile Application Platform, uses a thin-client “player” application which “plays” server based applications. Communications between the server and the client are secured using best of breed encryption and can be further customized as needed

Wide Availability – IdeoMobile’s Mobile Application Platform is available on a wide variety of devices and device families including legacy J2ME feature-phones as well as smartphone platforms such as Symbian,  BlackBerry, Android and Apple’s iPhone.
